Sr. Manager Financial & Controlling

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with both supply chain and finance departments to ensure accurate financial forecasting, planning, and budgeting for supply chain operations, including warehousing, 3PL services, transportation, infrastructure, and associated costs.
• Create and manage financial models, perform variance analysis, and conduct factor analysis to assist in strategic decision-making.
• Oversee cost management and labor planning across the entire supply chain network.
• Track and analyze key operational metrics, such as cost per shipment, inventory holding costs, delivery timelines, and warehouse utilization, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
• Lead the development of performance dashboards and ensure the timely delivery of financial reports.
• Identify and recommend cost-saving strategies across supply chain functions, while maintaining high service levels.
• Act as the main financial partner for the supply chain team, ensuring alignment with the broader objectives of the finance department.
• Assist with audits, compliance checks, and financial reporting for supply chain expenses and contracts.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance financial oversight within supply chain operations.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
• A minimum of 7-9 years of experience in supply chain finance, logistics operations finance, or a similar role within a complex, high-volume supply chain environment.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling, variance analysis, and operational cost control.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools, including Excel, SQL, and PowerBI.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively present data and translate it into actionable insights for senior leadership to drive informed decisions.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Familiarity with supply chain processes, including inbound/outbound logistics, warehousing, and 3PL operations.
